Sizing your pet

Suits

Measure the chest behind the front legs and the back from neck to tail base. Each recovery suit page lists its chest ranges; between sizes, size up for a slim, long pet.

Cones

Measure the neck where a collar sits and the distance from the collar to the tip of the nose. The cone must be deeper than that distance.

Diapers

Measure the waist just in front of the back legs, loosely. Heavier dogs between sizes go up, slim ones go down.

Beds and seats

Measure your pet lying stretched out and add a few inches. Console seats take pets up to 8 lb and 14 in long.
