Placing a scratcher
Put the scratcher where your cat already scratches — next to the sofa arm or the door frame — not in a quiet corner. Horizontal cats like lounges and pads; vertical cats want the post or the L-shape.
Most beds arrive vacuum-packed; give them two or three days to reach full height.
